About Me

Hi, I’m Katie Buderwitz—a born-and-raised Angeleno, UCLA-trained actor, and senior faculty member at Lesly Kahn & Company, where I have the joy of teaching, coaching, and collaborating with actors across all genres.

I bring a mix of heart, humor, and a little charm to everything I do—think Emma Stone if she took over for Jack Black in School of Rock. I’ve got a rom-com soul and a strong heart for story-telling.

Since earning my BA in Acting from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, I’ve performed at the Hollywood Fringe, filmed an indie pilot with creatives from Modern Family, and started producing my own original content on TikTok and Instagram. Because sometimes you just have to make your own magic!

I co-produced and performed in the UCLA Actor Showcase at the Falcon Theatre, directed by Michael Donovan, CSA, and I’m proudly represented by The Library Agency for both theatrical and commercial work.

I’m a proud Gemini—curious, quick-witted, and always chasing the next great story. I adore elephants (even though I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting one), and I can quote That Thing You Do! and Veronica Mars like it’s my job.

Whether I’m performing, coaching, or creating, I show up with curiosity, empathy, connection, and a love for the work that just won’t quit.
